Build: Only Character Special, Block Special, FIFO, Directory and Symbolic Link files can be created

The filesmetadata file can be used to add files to the data.tar.gz archive. However, at this time only the following 4 types are allowed:

  • Character Special
  • Block Special
  • FIFO (0.7.3 -- this type was mishandled in 0.7.2)
  • Directories (0.7.3)
  • Symbolic Links (0.7.3)

All other file types cannot be created using the filesmetadata information (in most cases because their content is undefined.)
