X-Installed-Files (wpkg-status)

The number of files the package unpacked for this package. This field is really just informative. The number of files could be counted again using the package file. Note that the count includes symbolic links and configuration files.

Note that the count is updated each time you unpack the package so it gets updated on upgrades. In other words it should represent the number of files currently installed by this package (excluding files that the package dynamically generates.)

The count is obviously valid only if the package is currently installed or unpacked. Any other state means that files were likely removed or never unpacked.
